1984 / 87 standard Front Suspension - utilizing Held Motorsports Front Spindles

When installing this system on the standard '84-'87 suspension it is necessary to upgrade the front spindles. The standard spindle and bearings will not deal with the kind of torque available from these brakes. New fabricated spindles are included in the kit making it slightly more expensive. Note also that the spindles in this kit are available at standard ride height, -1" , or -1.5" drop for lowering purposes.

1984 / 87 standard Rear Suspension

This Rear Brake kit will work with all applications of the Rear '84 / '87 Fiero Suspensions with slight modifications to the rear knuckle - easily accomplished with either a hack saw or a 4" grinder / cutting wheel.

1984-'87 Held Motorsports Slalom Front Suspension

This Front Brake kit will work with Held Motorsports Slalom Front Suspension in standard and wide track width applications used in '84 / '87 Fieros.

1988 Front - using Factory Spindles or Held Motorsports Drop Spindles

This Front Brake kit will work with 1988 Fiero Front Suspensions utilizing either Factory '88 front spindles or Held Motorsports '88 Front Drop spindles. The '88 factory front spindles are significantly stronger than the earlier units.

1988 Fiero Rear Suspension

This Rear Brake kit will work with all applications of the Rear '88 Fiero Suspensions with slight modifications to the rear knuckle - easily accomplished with either a hack saw or a 4" grinder / cutting wheel.

The massive cross-drilled, slotted, curved-vane vented, silver zinc plated rotors, are mated to an aluminum mounting hat which is specifically machined to the Fiero bolt pattern (different bolt patterns are available on request). There are no centering rings required for this kit. Clamping is provided by Wilwood Dynalite four-piston, billet aluminum calipers, at each wheel, with an additional mechanical caliper at each rear wheel, for the emergency / parking brake, which is designed to accept the Fiero park brake cable without modification. Many brake pad friction compounds are available for the Wilwood Dynalite calipers supplied. We include a street compound for high performance street applications and low dust levels. The system is comprehensive, requiring the installer supply only brake fluid.
